I take this opportunity to thank BESTIM because with your help I almost dropped out of school but through a simple conversation we had you were able to come up with a solution of how I would stay in school and help with paying my school fees. If it was not for you I do not know where I would be. I thank God who used you, I finished high school with good grades and I'm now in university. Thank you and I wish your support extends to other students who are now in the position I was in.

I take this opportunity to thank BESTIM for helping me pay for my school fees and ensuring that part of my personal life at home was taken care of. Because of your support, I did not have to worry about being kicked out of class due to unpaid school fees. With that burden lifted, I was able to settle down and focus on my studies. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the BESTIM community, which was started at GS Remera Rukoma School by a student named Ibyishaka Majorine together with other colleagues. I found out about BESTIM after the Covid-19 period when I returned to school while I was still sick. It was not Covid-19, but another serious illness that affected me greatly and made it difficult for me to study well. During that difficult time, the BESTIM community came close to me and comforted me when I was depressed. They showed me love, became my friends, and eventually became like family to me. They never abandoned me even though I had to attend three medical appointments every week. Each time I went for treatment, I had to pay, and even though we were all students, they helped me cover those costs. They also gave me school supplies because my family did not have enough money at home.
